my must-haves for my home bar to make gin drinks
Do a quick check to make sure you have all the necessary barware to make any of these gin drinks come to life at home! You’ll likely need a cocktail shaker, jigger, and cocktail strainer. If you decide to make cocktails in a large batch, I love to use a cocktail mixing glass with a bar spoon. You can also get a large strainer for this glass to strain any cocktail.
Making a punch? Use a pitcher or a copper punch bowl.
I love any kind of glassware, so I’m sure that it’s no surprise to know that I have every kind of cocktail glass in my cupboards. The normal person (unless they are harboring an obsession like mine) doesn’t need every cocktail glass type out there! I recommend having coupe glasses, moscow mule mugs, martini glass, and double old fashioned glasses. If you want something fun, check out these Gatsby cocktail glasses because they are stunning.
Don’t forget the garnish! Whether it’s mint leaves, a lemon wedge, or fresh fruit, garnish really sets a cocktail apart.
