Green Chili Pulled Pork Cheese Fries are my personal homage to my Denver hometown and our orange and blue fighting machine Broncos! Green chili is one of my favorite ingredients to put on everything and I doused these fries with it, plus some pulled pork for good measure. Who’s ready to dig in and watch some football?!
Green chili is one of my favorite foods. I remember moving to Denver from Kansas City, trying it for the first time and having my mind blown. I put it on everything (now that I can actually enjoy spicy foods on a regular basis – woo hoo for growing up and developing a palate!) and when the idea to make these fries popped into my head I was all like, aw hell YES gurl.
I am sure you’ve noticed by now, I’m a bit of a football fan. This has only grown with being in fantasy leagues for two years in a row and getting super into the Broncos (like to the point where I actually understand the plays and know all the names of the starting players – SO weird right?).
The food is one of the best parts about football season, though. As much as I love the game, I love having an excuse to kick back with a beer and some killer food once a week.
These green chili pulled pork cheese fries are the creme de la creme of football food recipes. Correction: the creme de la creme of BRONCOS recipes.
Green chili is kinda iconic here in Colorado (if you didn’t already know that) so these fries are my little tribute to the team.
And by little, I mean huge. Just look at all that cheese, pulled pork and green chili!!
I’m suuuuuper excited to be back with another tailgating recipe collaboration for you all! This time we are all showing our team spirit for our fav teams and the recipes are SO bomb. Check out the list below and get your grub on! Man, I just love football season don’t you?
