Holiday Gift Guide 2019: Foodie Travelers
If you are looking for the ideal gift for the food obsessed traveler in your life, this is the foodie travelers holiday gift guide for you! I’ve put together a list of my absolute must-have items that are essential for anyone who loves to travel, as well as food and drink. From travel accessories to a favorite book to glassware and more, you will find just what you are looking for!
Wanderlust
This gorgeous coffee table book is the ultimate gift for any type of traveler, but especially for foodie travelers. It’s currently sitting on our coffee table in our living room, and I can’t help but flip through the pages whenever I sit down. First, the photography is absolutely stunning and makes you want to book a flight around the world immediately. Also within this book, you can find more travel inspiration than anywhere else.
It’s perfect for any kind of traveler, but especially for the foodie traveler, because the book highlights the top food destinations, wine trails around the world, all kinds of festivals, and more. You can also discover nature’s marvels, street art, adventure, and culture!
One of my favorite sections is the Experience section. Just like the Moon Travel Guides that I used to plan Milan and Lake Como, you can use this book to seek out new experiences all over the world from romantic locations to gorgeous road trip ideas. Wanderlust can be purchased on Amazon or at Barnes and Noble.
The Wanderlust Planner
I am someone who loves to remember adventures through photos, but also through my own thoughts. There are so many things that you forget about a trip over time, but this Wanderlust Planner is the perfect companion to the Wanderlust book I mentioned previously. It’s ideal for someone who loves to plan their trips and also reflect on them afterwards, with places for budgeting, itinerary, and the most detailed reflection section I’ve ever seen. It’s something that anyone can really cherish and have so much fun filling out.
Personalized Passport Holder
For the traveler who loves to adventure, be sure that they have a styling passport holder! It was only this last trip to Europe that I bought one, and I am in love with it. It holds all the documents you need, including your passport, checked bag ticket, foreign currency, and more. Plus it’s super easy to find in your bag when it is in a holder like this.
Eat Well, Travel Often Print
Eat Well, Travel Often. Is there a better motto out there? I think not. This print is just the little special something for the person in your life who loves to eat and travel! Include a frame to make it instantly ready to hang.
Foodie: A Dauntless Blank Book
Have a friend who loves to journal or at least chronicle their favorite travels and bites? This adorable Foodie notebook is just the stocking stuffer for them!
Mini Cork Globe
The Man and I got this globe just a few months back and we have loved it! It was so fun to put pins in all the places we’ve visited, as well as continue to add to it with every new trip.
Repurposed Denim Bicycle Wine Caddy
For the bike and wine enthusiasts out there, this is the best way to make sure you always have a bottle with you on your adventures. The cute and handmade wine caddy is made from repurposed denim and fits onto any bike, whether it’s your own or you are spontaneously renting wherever you go.
Carry on Cocktail Kit
It doesn’t matter if the flight is long or short, there’s always time for a cocktail. These carry on cocktail kits are for the traveling cocktail aficionado! The kit makes four premium cocktails, so you know they’ll be kicking back with ease on the plane.
Etched World Globe Glasses
Another great gift for the traveling cocktail lover? These gorgeous globe old fashioned glasses! The design is simple and elegant, making it a clean addition to anyone’s bar cart.
Pebblar Trip Planning App
When I was planning our last great European adventure, I was introduced to Pebblar and it’s now my new favorite app. You can purchase per trip or make an unlimited subscription, and it’s a planner’s dream. This app allows you to build your itinerary, organize it down to the day, and it’s also accessible offline.
MunchPak Subscription
The Man is OBSESSED with trying every single unique international snack wherever we go, and I know there are many more like him out there. For the snack-obsessed, get them a subscription to MunchPak! You can choose from different pack sizes and even the length of time you’d like to gift. Each pack includes different new snacks from around the world to enjoy!
