Does anyone else feel like this summer is flying by way too quickly?
I honestly can’t believe that it’s already July! Wasn’t yesterday Memorial Day?
Back in the day, summer was a time for relaxation and play. There was no more schoolwork, and running through sprinklers to keep cool was the main concern on most afternoons.

Now it feels like my weeks have been overrun with work… The summer used to be a slower time, but this year, my schedule appears to be ramping up to an extent I never even knew could be possible.
By the time 3 o’clock in the afternoon rolls around, I feel pretty burnt out and I am unsure how to get through the rest of the day.
Enter this refreshing, frozen drink…
I don’t know if you have tried the new flavor of Canada Dry Ginger Ale, but it has quickly become my favorite to kick back with each afternoon.
There I was in my local King Soopers, looking for Canada Dry Ginger Ale (we always keep some in the house, to drink and also to settle upset stomachs – it’s a magical cure for that if you didn’t know!), and there it was. The new Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Lemonade.
My mind perked up immediately with curiosity. I mean, I already love ginger ale, and to add lemonade to the mixture? That sounds like the most refreshing drink EVER.
The moment I tried it, I was hooked. It’s bubbly and full of gingery lemon flavor. I’ve taken to making time each afternoon to indulge in a glass so I can recenter my mind before I finish up my day.
At least, until I started making this gorgeous frozen concoction. This Mixed Berry Ginger Lemonade Frozen Mocktail features Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Lemonade combined with fresh berries to make a fruity, refreshing drink to kick back and cool off with whenever you have a couple of minutes to whip it up.
All you have to do is freeze Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Lemonade in ice cube trays, keeping them in your freezer for whenever you would like to make this drink. You blend them up with fresh berries, and you have an easy, refreshing mocktail to relax with on your porch.
Watching my two insane pups chase each other around the lawn while I sit back in a chaise lounge chair for a mid-afternoon break is the one thing that is keeping me sane this summer. Just saying.
Now I’ve talked to you about King Soopers before, but I want to take a moment to talk to you about Clicklist. This online shopping option is available for any Kroger banner store (including King Soopers) and it’s basically my weekly savior.
I love having the option to save time (and save a ton of money with digital coupons) by placing my order online and picking it up in 5 minutes at my local King Soopers.
Honestly, if you haven’t tried it, I so recommend it. It saves SO much time and SO much money.
