Chipotle Bacon Deviled Eggs aren’t your mama’s classic deviled eggs. The smoky, spicy homemade chipotle seasoning gives the eggs a burst of flavor, which pairs perfectly with savory, crispy bacon and creamy avocado.

Deviled eggs are always a must for me during this time of year. I don’t always get to indulge in deviled eggs so I look forward to getting my chow on every Spring.

I’ve always loved the classic deviled eggs recipe. The tangy yolk filling, the tender hardboiled egg whites and a touch of paprika are hardwired into my brain’s flavor memory.

Big ’n Smoky Five Alarm Burger

When you want to up your burger game, a Big ’n Smoky Five Alarm Burger is where the money’s at. This burger brings the heat and the smoke with a spicy bourbon BBQ sauce, grilled jalapeños and a patty made with all-natural ground beef AND ground pork chorizo. Get ready to set your taste buds on fire!

My recent travels took me to Charleston, South Carolina and one of my favorite meals there was this ridiculous burger that I scarfed down at a local beer and burger joint along the main stretch of Historic Downtown Charleston.

The burger was nothing short of delicious, with grilled jalapeños, a zesty cheese and melt-in-your-mouth burger patty that I couldn’t stop shoveling in my mouth. It was spicy, but honestly a little underwhelming when it came to the heat level they boasted on their menu. It gave fair warning to anyone who dared indulge, but the spice level really could have been upped a couple of degrees to make the burger have a true bite.

Bourbon Cherry Crisp

A Bourbon Cherry Crisp is how to get a summer pie fix without going through all the effort of making an entire pie. The combination of bourbon and tart cherry flavors is the dessert of the summer! Serve it up for Mother’s Day or for your Memorial Day picnic with a giant scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. Trust me when I say everyone will be demanding a second helping.

Mother’s Day is coming up this weekend and if you are anything like me, you are trying to put together the ultimate menu of foods and drinks that will show my mom just how much I love her.

Of course, I am a terrible child who is running around Europe at the moment instead of being at home for Mother’s Day sooooooooooo I’ll have to help you all be better children than I am today. HA.

I swear, I already have plans to make it up to her once I am back in town.

48 Hour Foodie Guide: Kauai

When traveling across the Pacific to those far away American islands, you have to know how to eat your way around the island. My 48 Hour Foodie Guide: Kauai will help you get the best bites and sips on Kauai, as well as a few must-hit adventures you’re sure to love!

When I turned 30 last year, I was swept away to one of the most amazing islands in Hawaii – Kauai. From drinking out of a fresh coconut while overlooking rainbows in waterfalls, to drinking the best mai tais on island in the pouring rain, this trip was the best way to ring in the next decade of my life.

I couldn’t keep all the deliciousness of the trip from you all, so I wanted to share my favorite spots to hit with you. I may be running around Europe at the moment (don’t forget to follow along in Instagram!), but that doesn’t mean I can’t pop in to tease you with your next foodie adventure…. 😉

To Eat

Fish Express – I received SO many recommendations to hit this little shop off the highway and I have thanked each and every person oh-so sincerely for turning me onto this place. This is by far the best, freshest poke I’ve ever sunk my teeth into, at a price that won’t make you faint. We grabbed this after a morning of baking in the sun (yes, I got a sunburn…) and it was refreshing, flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth amazing enough to make me forget about the searing pain on my thighs.

Wailua Shave Ice – there are a ton of shave ice options on the island to choose from, but after a lot of research, the Wailua Shave Ice truck off of Kuhio Hwy was in the top two favorites on the island. Their fresh juice ingredients, giant serving size (that isn’t TOO big – some of the ones I tried on the island were packed with too much ice and too little flavor…), and playful flavor combinations really stood out to me. Might have returned there more than once. Or twice…. #worthit

The Fresh Shave – located on the South side of the island, The Fresh Shave is also a great spot to grab the delicious dessert treat on a warm day. It’s an ideal stop if you are heading to Waimea Canyon State Park, and their adorable little mustaches that they stick in their cups is worth all the Instagram photos you are dying to take (don’t lie and pretend that you don’t factor that in….)

Mermaids Cafe – you can get unique, flavorful tacos everyday on the island here. The little outdoor shop with colorful murals and fresh ingredients is a fun spot in the center of town to chow down at. Their Kapa’a tacos and tropical tacos were a serious fav, but their ahi wrap (much better than that whole sushi burrito fad) should not be missed either.

Sushi Bushido – where do three girls go for a delicious sushi night out on the town? Here. Also located in Kapa’a, this little sushi spot has a fun variety of rolls, incredibly fresh ingredients, and reasonable prices that I am always a fan of when it comes to sushi. Plus the cocktails are all on point and their happy hour is a heck of a deal!

Tiki Tacos – hands-down my FAVORITE meal of the entire trip. Fair warning, the tacos here are HUGE so getting a couple is going to be plenty for you. I got three and definitely couldn’t get through the entire thing. It seems like a bit of a hole-in-the-wall but honestly, it was better than both expensive meals I indulged in on this trip. The pork melts in your mouth and even their vegetarian tacos are drool worthy (and that’s coming from a hardcore carnivore over here). You won’t be disappointed!

To Drink

Tahiti Nui Cocktail Lounge – We hit Tahiti Nui after a day of adventuring based on a recommendation from a family that’s been coming to Kauai every year for the past 5 years. I have to say, it was the BEST Mai Tai on the island (and I drank my fair amount of these during that whole week). Even though it was pouring rain outside, the party was inside with tropical drinks, delicious snacks and live music. It’s on the North side of the island, so if you are hitting up any of the beaches that way (or just wrapping up with your Princeville Ranch Adventure – see below for more detail) you have to stop here.

Duke’s Kauai – if you are looking for the best view of the ocean with a drink in your hand, Duke’s Kauai is the place to hit. It’s literally right on the ocean (the deck even hangs over the ocean a little bit) and it’s a legendary spot to experience on the island given its history. The stunning beach views are worth the slightly higher price tag.

Lava Lava Beach Club – I honestly wasn’t expecting much when I ate here for a impromptu celebration dinner, but I was delightfully swept off my feet. Don’t let the posh, club-like vibe of the resort fool you, the beach-side restaurant boasts a modern twist on Hawaiian flavors. Not to mention their giant drinks will completely blow your head off with flavor (and a hefty helping of booze). Don’t indulge unless you plan not to drive – just sayin’.

To See

Farmer’s Market at Coconut Marketplace – while the marketplace is underwhelming, the cute little farmer’s market that shows up on Tuesday and Thursday mornings is worth the trip. You’ll find bright, vibrant produce, some of the best pastries I’ve eaten, and one man who sells this coconut syrup and pancake mix that makes for the perfect foodie souvenir to take home with you.

Wailua Falls – stunning views with sweeping rainbows and lush tropical surrounding forests. It doesn’t get more Kauai than this natural beauty. Also, getting the fresh coconut from the vendor at the overlook point is 100% worth it.

Waimea Canyon State Park – I have only one word for you – STUNNING. The canyon lookout spot at the top of the park is gorgeous, however the drive and little stop offs are worth taking the extra time to experience. Just be sure to bring lots of water so you don’t get conned into $5 water bottles at the lookout points along the way.

Hanapepe Swinging Bridge – Hanapepe is already an adorable town to stop off in, but the swinging bridge is the most memorable spot in the town. Not to mention the Aloha Spice Company located right off the town-side of the bridge (for more foodie souvenirs) – try to Uncle Luau’s Coffee Rub!!

Kilauea Lighthouse and Wildlife Refuge – for an insanely gorgeous view of the ocean, you have to stop off at this lighthouse spot. Even though the lighthouse itself was closed when we visited, the stunning views and fresh ocean breeze are how I like to sightsee.

Princeville Ranch – the Princeville Ranch adventure we went on was the highlight activity of the trip. We sailed through the tropical forests on ziplines, ate in the middle of the rainforest, and took a dip in a private pool with waterfalls and lush flowers. The guides were HILARIOUS and the size of the group was just right (only 7 in total!).

The Ultimate Guide to Denver Pizza and Beer

Sometimes you just have to take it back to the basics to get the most out of an evening! For me, the basics includes a fresh-from-the-oven pizza and a cold beer. The Ultimate Guide to Denver Pizza and Beer is my guide to some favorite pizza and beer spots around the city. This guide is all about the hidden gems around the city that aren’t packed to the gills with patrons at all hours of the day. Instead, these spots are my go-to’s for a relaxing evening of great food, killer Denver beer and atmosphere. My favorite Denver neighborhoods, the best pizza and craft brewery pairings. I’ll let you decide which one is your fave!

Pizza and beer is one of my favorite combination in the world. A warm slice of pizza and a cold beer always satisfy my taste buds, especially now that you can bring pizzas into most of your favorite breweries around Denver! Personally I like to make a night of it, starting with pizza and a beer from the pizzeria’s tap list, then ending the night at a killer brewery that’s just down the street (or right next door!).

The truth is, you can never go wrong with a night of pizza and beer. With so many options around Denver, it’s hard to narrow down the list of my favorites… Instead of loading you up with an endless list, I’m dedicating this guide to a few of my favorite Denver neighborhoods that won’t have you waiting two hours to get a slice, or living in cramped standing room only taprooms. These spots are all centrally located around the city, and will help you experience a couple of neighborhoods in Denver that you may not have explored before.

Ballpark Neighborhood

I’m starting off this round up of Denver pizza and beer in one of the closest neighborhoods to the center of town. Situated right by the Ballpark, this pizza and beer match up is ideal for those of you getting your chow on before or after a Rockies game!

Jagged Mountain Brewery – finding an actual brewery in downtown Denver isn’t as easy as you would think until you get to RiNo and other bordering areas of downtown Denver like the Highlands. Jagged Mountain Brewery changed all that by coming in and setting up shop close to the Ballpark. With a large tap room and a playful tap list, the brewery really holds its own with a strong core of beers and seasonal specials. What stands out to me about this spot is the true Colorado vibe, from the tap room itself to the fun beer names and tap handles, you feel like you are in a true Denver local spot the moment you walk in the door.

Recommended Sips: Grouse Mountain (blood orange gose with a bold sour flavor that really got my taste buds jumping), Doppel Black Diamond (a malty sweet scented beer with a dry and toasty finish makes this one that I could drink all year round), Colorado Forager (every bar has that one beer that goes down easy with a fresh flavor and this is Jagged Mountain’s. Grab a growler of it and take it home because you could easily be drinking this all night!)

Racca’s Pizzeria Napoletana – there are times that I want to satisfy my craving for true Italian pizza, and when I do, I head straight to Racca’s in the Ballpark district. I mean, when a pizza place has ovens that were flown in from Italy and get up to 1000 degrees, you kind of have to make a stop for a slice (or ten). Everything Racca’s serves up is made in their blistering hot ovens, from their focaccia to their pizzas. The crispy, warm and soft dough each pizza sits on transports me right back to the streets of Italy. Whenever I come here, I highly recommend sitting on the patio so you can people-watch along with your pizza and cold brew. The char of the dough, the beer, and the fans pouring into or out of the stadium in the summer is a prime Denver experience in the making, my friends.

Recommended Bites: Focaccia (made in the oven, perfectly soft and chewy, and full of flavor. Be sure to pair it with some balsamic vinegar and olive oil, as well as their special Calabrian Olive Oil – click on the link to make it yourself!), Toscana pizza (piled high with arugula, tomatoes, salty prosciutto and sheep’s milk cheese. This is freshness in every bite – made even better with their Calabrian Olive Oil drizzled on top – and should be paired with a fresh IPA, sour or even pale ale), Umbria pizza (the sweeter Vidalia onions alongside sausage, peppers, basil and extra virgin olive oil is a sweet and savory combination of flavors. Extra delicious when paired with a classic farmhouse ale like Boulevard’s Tank 7)

East Colfax

Next on the Denver pizza and beer list? East Colfax. The East Colfax neighborhood has been going through a revitalization for the past handful of years, and the result has been all sorts of tasty. From restaurants to bars, breweries to unique shops, the stretch of Colfax that used to be a little tired is now full of life.

Cerebral Brewing – this home brewing operation turned craft brewery is where science meets passion. When you walk into the bright and light tap room, you feel like you’ve walked into a homey lab. From the lab-like high-top tables to tasters served in beakers, you can’t help but smile at how much science has been embraced here. I chat with a lot of brewers who are focused on the science of beer-making, however it’s usually behind the scenes. Cerebral Brewing puts that science front and center with a heavy emphasis on saison and brett. The primary focus here is on balance. Balance between flavors down to balance between science and art. In such a mature market, it’s refreshing to see a newer brewery come in with such a strong identity, and a strong sense of the Denver brewing community. Make sure you hit them up on a warm day because their patio is to die for.

Recommended Sips: Mango Stardust (a tart Berliner with a punch of fresh mango flavor, ideal for summer), Rare Trait (a well-balanced and smooth IPA that makes me actually appreciate IPAs – y’all know I’m not the biggest IPA fan just yet!), Night Glow (a deep and robust flavor with tons of chocolate and coffee), Barrel Aged Work From Home (the barrel aged version of Work from Home that has hints of maple syrup that made me dream of pairing it with a giant stack of pancakes – released yearly. The non-barrel aged version is good as well, but y’all know the barrel aging steals my heart every dang time)

Fat Sully’s New York Pizza – located in the same building as Denver Biscuit Company and the Atomic Cowboy on Colfax, Fat Sully’s slings up New York style pizza slices that satisfy my craving oh-so much more than any other New York style pizzeria does in this area. The thin slices that are the size of your freaking FACE are fresh, hand-tossed and impossible to not finish.

Recommended Bites: I always encourage you to make your own pizza or slice with this style of pizza, but if you want to know my personal favorite combination… Jalapeños, pepperoni, garlic, and red pepper flakes is made for all you meat-lovers and spicy fanatics.

Tennyson Street

Tennyson Street is an area of Denver that I personally had not tapped into until recently (to the chagrin of many of my friends and the Man). The stretch between 32nd and I-70 holds a new host of bars, restaurants and boutique shops, with more construction going on all the time. It’s one of those hidden gem streets that feels like a tiny town, without that “too small town-y” vibe. I actually have a couple of Denver pizza and beer pairings in this neighborhood, so get prepared for a double-dose of DELISH.

All-In-One Stop = Hops & Pie. If you don’t want to limit yourself to one brewery, then the all-in-one spot to hit on Tennyson Street is definitely Hops & Pie. OMGGGGG this place is the bomb diggity. They’ve been open for 8 years and not only have they survived the insane transformation in the area… they have thrived. It smells like pizza heaven from the moment you walk in, reminding me of the pizzerias in Rome. While they offer some killer sandwiches and tacos, if it’s your first time there you HAVE to get the pizza. All of their dough and bread is made in house (the pizza dough being a 1:1 ratio of water and beer – yea, that’s right, I said BEER) so you get the freshest, most delicious flavor every single time you visit.

Recommended Bites: Pizza (DUH) with whatever toppings you want (I suggest bacon, goat cheese and caramelized onions because holy WOW it’s pure genius). The reuben is AMAZING, served on housemade bread with bacon slaw and meats that are all smoked in house – it literally melts in your mouth. Macaroni and cheese made with an IPA sauce is the only mac and cheese I crave because if it’s rich flavor without feeling too heavy. Plus it has bacon, hamhock, and peas so it reminds you of hot dogs and mac ‘n cheese as a kid – but all grown up! Be sure to end your meal with their giant bread pudding topped with a warm bourbon sauce that I wish I could take a bath in. It is HEAVEN.

Recommended Sips: Literally ANYTHING on their rotating tap list is worth trying. You can indulge in a full glass, a flight, or take a gander at their giant bottle list if you want to be a real beer snob (hey, no judgement here, I’ve done it before when I’m feeling fancy). The drafts are mostly local but some are from around the U.S. and they are known to be one of the best beer spots to hang at in town.

Looking for a deal? Saturdays between 12pm and 5pm you can get 2 slices and 3 drafts for $16. Wednesday is $2 craft can night and on Tuesday you can pick up an 18-inch 2 topping pizza and 2 drafts for $25. WOOT.

Call to Arms Brewing Company – the moment you walk into the taproom, you get an immediate sense of the “old world meet new” start that Call to Arms Brewing Company had. The English-style beer hall has a lively, fun and rustic feel from the shuffle board game in the back, to the wooden bar and humorous posters lining the walls. The three fellows who started the brewery all met while working at Avery Brewing Company and broke off to form their own, community-focused brewery – and the amount of passion and care shows in the beers they create. Really, their motto says it all – Quality. Community. Camaraderie.

Honestly, this brewery is one of the reasons I’d love to live in the area because there is such a sense of community. They even launched a CTA Good Samaritan Program that will throw you a beer at the end of hours worked at a charity, encouraging the Denver beer community to give back.

You’ll find a real sense of home at this beer hall, with core and seasonal beers that boast bold, balanced flavors. Plus you can eat Mas Kaos (see below) pizza without having to walk further than next door as you down a few beers in the beer hall. BOOM baby.

Recommended Sips: Tom Cruise (a Belgian wit with Asian pear and lychee making it both fresh and crisp), Bell’s Belgian Quadriceps (a Belgian quad that has my highest rating at this brewery – so smooth, so delish), Beer Drinks You (a Baltic porter that I loved to pair with the Mas Kaos pizzas I ate because it’s not too heavy and cleanses the palate between each bite)

Mas Kaos Pizzeria & Taqueria – I know that the title of this restaurant includes tacos, but the reason you come here is 100% for their PIZZA. The fresh brick oven cooked pizzas come flying out of the oven quickly with a variety of toppings that are an exploration for your taste buds. With Call to Arms Brewing Company beers on tap, you can kick back in this funky spot for hours (especially with their happy hour running from 11:30am to 6pm). You can even order a pizza and have it delivered to Call to Arms right next door if you are more into trying a flight of their delicious beers and don’t want to go ping-ponging back and forth all night long.

Recommended Bites: Brick Oven Garlic Bread (crunchy and chewy with a ton of garlic and a rich San Marzano marinara sauce that I’m dying to steal the recipe for), Jalapeño Business pizza (the combination of spicy and creamy on this pizza is built for anyone who loves a little heat on their pizza), Smokestack pizza (my personal favorite, stacked up with savory, thick cut bacon, roasted poblanos and goat cheese. The result is smoky, tangy, rich and savory… especially when paired with a cool 90 Shilling or Call to Arms Beer Drinks You Baltic porter)

Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner and even though I won’t be stateside to celebrate it, I will be dreaming of having another one of these little beauties hitting my lips…

Margaritas and tacos are staples in my diet, so it’s not a surprise that I will take any excuse possible to dig into them even MORE than usual. I do tend to inhale tacos and margaritas like a fiend, so this should come as no surprise to you all.

Usually fruity margaritas are all the rage as soon as the weather turns warm. As you hit various restaurants around town, it seems like the strawberry, orange, rhubarb and other fruity cocktails crop up everywhere.

While I do like to indulge in a sweeter margarita from time to time, I prefer my margaritas spicy.

That’s exactly why I went with a nice and spicy margarita recipe for your Cinco de Mayo celebrations this year! This chili margarita gives you a double dose of smoky heat.

You start with a chile infused tequila made with fresno and serrano chile peppers. Then you add a chili salt rim for a slight heat and smoky flavor. The lime juice finishes the drink with an acidic kick and once you are done with each sip, your taste buds are already craving another.

It’s delicious to pair with any Mexican fare you have planned for May 5th, or anytime really… because who doesn’t loooooooove tacos???

this recipe’s must-haves

Since this cocktail is so simple, you just need basic bar tools to pull it together. You will need a jigger or liquid measuring cup to measure out the ingredients.

You will also need a cocktail shaker to shake it all up!

Finally, I love to use a rimmer set to easily rim my cocktail glasses.

ingredients

tequila. I prefer using a blanco or silver tequila. It’s clear and colorless, making it ideal for this punch. My personal favorites are a mid-range price point like El Jimador or Dobel. You can use something more top shelf if you prefer like Patron.

chile peppers. to infuse the tequila, I like to use a combination of serrano chile peppers and fresno chile peppers. You can use a combination, or use all of just one type!

lime juice. fresh lime juice is best, in my opinion! Plus you’ll want lime wedges for garnish.

orange liqueur. you are welcome to buy a more expensive option like Cointreau or Grand Marnier, but I just reach for the triple sec. It’s more affordable and personally I can’t tell the difference between this and other top shelf options in mixed cocktails.

agave. the flavor that agave nectar adds to a margarita is elite. It’s definitely my go-to but you can also swap it out for honey or simple syrup if you prefer.

spices. you will need salt, chili powder, and cayenne pepper for the recipe! You could also use chilli salt or Tajin seasoning if you have that on hand already.

here’s how to make a chili lime margarita

infuse

In an airtight container, like a mason jar, combine tequila and peppers. Allow the tequila to infuse for about 4 to 8 hours, depending on how spicy you like it!

I like to check mine after a few hours, then every hour until it is as spicy as I want it.

make rimming mix

Stir together ingredients for the rimming mixture in a small bowl. Rub a margarita or cocktail glass with a lime wedge. Then roll the rim of your glasses in the chili salt.

shake

Add infused tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave to a shaker with ice. Shake well.

Strain into rimmed ice-filled glass with ice. Serve.

do I have to infuse the tequila?

The infused tequila is what makes this margarita spicy! Don’t skip this step as it is what makes this margarita the recipe that it is!

Plus you can use the infused tequila in other cocktails too! I highly recommend making a Moscow Mule with it for a spicy twist on the classic recipe.

can I turn this into a batch cocktail?

You certainly can! To make this cocktail for 8 people, use all of the infused tequila (1 1/2 cups), 1/2 cup lime juice, 1 cup orange liqueur, and 3/4 cup agave.

Assemble in a pitcher, stirring vigorously with ice to combine!

can I make this a frozen margarita?

Of course! Simply add all of the ingredients to a blender with a handful of ice. Blend until smooth and enjoy.

Of course where there are margaritas, there has to be Mexican food! Usually that means a Tex Mex or Latin theme in our home. Here are some of my favorite recipes to pair with these margaritas:

Instant Pot Chipotle Chicken Tacos are my favorite easy weeknight dinner, but they are also easy to feed a crowd with. You can even double the recipe and follow the instructions as is. How easy is that?

When I want something light and refreshing, I reach for these Honey Lime Shrimp Guacamole Tostadas. All of the elements build a big depth of flavor!

For a unique take on the French tartine, try this Mexican Pulled Pork Tartine (Open-Faced Sandwich). It’s such a delicious combination and also easy to prep the elements ahead of time! Simply warm the pork and assemble when you are ready to serve.

Fair warning: do NOT use the infused tequila to take shots with…. it’s not a pleasant experience because that stuff is H-O-T.

Chili Lime Margarita

Chili infused tequila and a smoky chili salt rim make this margarita oh-so memorable!

Servings: 1 cocktail + 1 1/2 cups chile tequila

equipment

ingredients

Chili Salt

4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp cayenne powder
Lime wedge

Chile Infused Tequila

1 1/2 cups silver tequila
3 serrano chile peppers sliced in half lengthwise
2 fresno chile peppers sliced in half lengthwise

Margarita

1 1/2 oz pepper infused tequila
Juice from 1/2 lime
1 oz orange liqueur
3/4 oz agave
Ice

instructions

Combine tequila and peppers in an airtight container. Allow the tequila to infuse for at least 5 to 8 hours (or more if you want it H-O-T).
When ready to make the margarita, stir together ingredients for chili salt in a small bowl. Rub a margarita or cocktail glass with the lime wedge, then rim with chili salt.
In a shaker filled with ice, combine chile infused tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur and agave. Shake vigorously.
Fill rimmed glass with ice. Strain margarita into the glass and serve.

To make this cocktail for 8 people, use all of the infused tequila (1 1/2 cups), 1/2 cup lime juice, 1 cup orange liqueur, and 3/4 cup agave. Assemble in a pitcher, stirring vigorously with ice to combine!

Then other times, it’s summer. It can be a little confusing to someone who just wants to have thunderstorms, spring flowers and moderate temperatures for a couple of months.

As I’m sitting here, trying to think of where to start with my recap of my experience at The Broadmoor, I find that I am a bit at a loss for words. Not because I have a lack of things to say, or that I have any negative critiques to pine on; instead it’s because I have too MANY words. I keep thinking back to each bite, each sip, each incredible experience and I cannot pick the one I want to start with!

Honestly, The Broadmoor is one of those unique properties that you just don’t find in this world anymore. This is going to sound ridiculous, but do you remember that summer resort from Dirty Dancing where families could spend months in one place, enjoying everything the property had to offer? The Broadmoor is what I like to think of as its modern equivalent. You could spend weeks here and still find things to do, from places to eat, new cocktails to try, and new adventures to embark on.

In fact, while I was there, The Man and I met a family that has been returning to the resort every year for a week or two without fail. I think that’s what inspired the Dirty Dancing flashback in my mind. The idea of having a resort that never gets old, a destination you always crave to see, and an ever-rotating menu of seasonal foods and drinks is one that is lost in some ways (at least in my mind). Many resorts attempt to do this, and many fail because they cannot keep things fresh for those returning visitors.

The magic, the adventure, the FOOD. The Broadmoor is a luxurious package that everyone should experience at least once in their lives – and it’s one that will keep people coming back, time after time.
